Sun Wukong, the Chinese Monkey King, guides the Poet from Bagan, Burma, up over Lhasa, Tibet, to the Buddhist Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, China, and on down the Hexi Corridor, route of the Old Silk Road, to Chang-an, Capital of the Tang Dynasty, where he meets with the poet Du Fu at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Ratul Pal Sir, I have just started reading your "Into the Ruins".....Marvelous!...."...and the next, and the next, and the next...all are like the torture-chambers of this world".....I am going to finish it tonight!..Most of the professors of literature write poetry to express the fact that they are knowledgeable...But your poems are authentic in flavour....I like it!
